Rather have a small and great press kit now, than work on a large scale one that isn’t live for months.

So get one on your website or portfolio right away.


  1. Find 4-5 photos of your project that portrays it well
  2. Write a 100 word company or profile description
  3. Pick a picture of yourself. Grab your LinkedIn image if you don’t have any extra ones
  4. Download your video reel or trailer and attach it. It’ll help festivals and the like to showcase it locally
  5. Zip it and rename the file
  6. Add a menu item in your portfolio or website footer saying “press kit” and simply add the file, so it downloads immediately when clicked
